day zero

it startedwith nothing

February 2026. No audience, no store, no brand. Just Eva, four years among Colombian coffee farms, and coffee worth tasting.

Why trust was the hard part

Crowded shelves
Supermarket blends, capsules and bags that call themselves specialty all compete for the same cup.
Words anyone can print
In the EU, specialty, single origin and direct trade have no legal definition.
So we led with proof
Named farmers, footage from the farms and claims that hold up in front of a coffee professional.

the brand

every bag namesits farmer

We built evelina from the name up: the hummingbird, the colours, the packaging. And one rule for every claim.

The brand rules

Identity from zero
The evelina name, the hummingbird mark, colours, packaging and the voice.
A named farmer on every bag
Royman Leon (Finca La Eneida), Andrés Galeano (Hacienda Cincinnati) and Oscar Daza (Hacienda La Pradera), with the farm and the region on every coffee.
Claims that hold up
No scores on the bag, no invented scarcity, no health promises. At most three tasting notes, described as tendencies.
Eva speaks for the brand
First person, signed personally. Never a faceless team.

Local payment methods and Packeta delivery in both countries.

gamified reviews

reviews peoplewant to write

Every coffee in an order gets its own review, and every review its own discount code for the next order. It grows with what people add, never with the rating, so an honest two stars earns exactly what five stars do.

A reward that grows with effort pulls in the one thing a coffee shop cannot shoot itself: real cups, in real kitchens, on moka pots, V60s and office machines.

the content

filmed wherethe coffee grows

35 reels in seven months. Researched and scripted by us, shot on the farms, edited for three platforms.

What the 35 reels taught us

Exposés bring the reach
8 reels on capsules, instant and supermarket coffee earned 52% of all Instagram plays.
The farm builds trust
Eva’s reel about life among the farms reached 370K plays with the highest like rate of any big reel.
Long is fine
All six reels over 100K plays run between 80 and 133 seconds.
Launches convert
Launch reels reach fewer people but draw the most buying comments.
  1. 01

    research

Every reel starts from sources, so each claim survives a coffee professional in the comments.

  2. Reel cover: one tree gives only 400 g of coffee a year

    02

    script

One idea per reel and a hook in the first seconds, written in Eva’s voice.

  3. 03

    shoot

On the farms of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, with the people who grow the coffee.

  4. 04

    edit

Cut to about a minute and a half, then published on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
